how to prepare for the CPIM certification exams
- Plan your approach to studying for the Exams. There are 2 options available to you:
Option 1:
Attend an instructor-led class sponsored by APICS Twin Cities Chapter (see class options & registration details below) Class fees include the CPIM Learning Systems
Option 2:
Purchase the CPIM Part 1 and Part 2 Learning Systems (includes books & 1-year license for online study tools) and self-study (see self-study order form here) - Purchase the Exam Credit and Schedule Your CPIM Part 1 and Part 2 Exams at local testing center or proctored from your home or office.
The Twin Cities Chapter offers local, instructor-led review courses starting 2 to 3 times/year to help you prepare for the exam. Current Course Details are included on the following Registration Form and listed at the bottom of this page.
In general classes start in the Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer. Schedules are based on demand.

Please note there there are deep discounts available for ASCM/APICS Members and for bundling the study program with the exam credit into one purchase. Member and Nonmember prices are available. Call the Chapter Office with questions.

Written withdrawal is required no later than the final registration deadline. Tuition, less the cost of any materials ordered, and a $50/class cancellation fee, will be refunded. Failure to attend does not qualify as a withdrawal.
Students who have taken a Twin Cities Chapter CPIM Certification Review Course within the last 2 years may register to re-take the class for ½ price. A current participant guide (at student’s expense) is required.
Students who have taken a Twin Cities Chapter CPIM or CSCP Certification Review Course within the last 2 years may audit a session of the same course for free one time. Students are required to notify the Chapter 48 hours ahead of the session they plan to attend. Students may audit up to a maximum of 3 sessions of a specific evening course or one session of a daytime course.
